Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180º C. Grease a five inch cake tin with some butter and dust with some flour. 2. Sieve together the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix. 3. Beat together the castor sugar and eggs in another bowl till it reach a ribbon consistency. Add the flour mixture and fold well. 4. Heat the butter and milk in the microwave till the butter melts. Remove from heat and mix. 5. Add the butter-milk mixture and vanilla essence to the flour-egg mixture and mix well to make a smooth batter. 6. Pour the batter in the prepared tin, put the tin in the preheated oven and bake for forty to forty-five minutes. Remove from oven, cool and demould.
