Preparation

1. Mix together jowar flour, wheat flour, gram flour, carom seeds, cumin seeds, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic, onion, coriander leaves and salt in a bowl. 2. Add sufficient water and knead into soft dough. Set aside for ten to fifteen minutes. 3. Divide the dough into twelve equal portions and spread evenly on a plastic sheet. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and prick some holes all over. 4. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Place the dhapates, one by one, on it and shallow-fry on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 5. Serve hot with white butter.
